What you can do:

1. Make our demands widely known:
Get your organisation to sponsor and use the campaign statement issued with bulletin 2. The three demands are crucial to securing the return of the detainees. It is through advancing these demands that we will put pressure on the government and raise public awareness about the core issues. Sponsorship means agreement with and practical support for advancing the demands. Please approach your local councillors to sponsor the statement. If you cannot copy the statement yourselves request copies from me. We will issue our statement to all the MPs who signed the Early Day Motion requesting repatriation once they return from recess. 2. Stalls
Set up stalls in your area give out the campaign statement to members of the public and urge them to participate in a letter writing campaign. We recommend the Amnesty International letter writing campaign, details for this will be forwarded asap. If we send letters to the detainees it is likely to slow progress of letters from their families since all mail is censored before being sent on. We do not want this vital contact between the detainees and their families to be affected.

The campaign statement will soon be available on this site for people to sign up to expressing their support for the campaign. It can also be printed off and used to collect signature of support on stalls. If you use it for this purpose please send completed copies into post office box address. We will add the names to our bulletin email and postal address list.
